Onsite food is superb.
The high prices of meals shouldn’t discourage people from trying something at the hotel’s restaurant. With a wide variety of choices and award winning recipes the onsite cuisine is something that shouldn’t be missed.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Guestrooms feel old and dated.
Time and money needs to be invested at this hotel to overhaul the guestrooms. Aside from outdated decor and yellowed wallpaper, numerous carpet stains and bathrooms in disrepair create an overall shabby appearance throughout the accommodation.
negative:
Many guests request a room change at first sight.
Changing rooms is common at the Livermead House Hotel. Several guests have commented about how the rooms they are first shown are too small for their needs, and how they have to work with staff to find more suitable accommodations; which the staff always does without complaint.
negative:
Some items in the guestroom need to be replaced.
Amenities in many of the private rooms need to be replaced. Lumpy mattresses are the most frequent issue among other well worn pieces of furniture, while issues such as broken kettles are also common.
