Excellent central location
This was probably what guests most appreciated about Millen. The location was described as just a few steps from Bologna's station, which they obviously found very convenient. Also, the Old Town, with all it had to offer, was just a short stroll away.

Guests seemed surprised to report that they actually enjoyed the breakfast. Perhaps they had not been expecting much, but found it well presented and tasty, if a little lacking in variety.

Rooms not well soundproofed
Quite a numbers of guests mentioned that they could clearly hear conversations, and noise in general, from the adjacent rooms. It seems that no soundproofing steps have been taken.

Problems with card payments
This was by far the most common, and definitely the most serious, compliant. A very large number of guests report that the hotel puts a block on their credit card that takes a month or more to clear after they have checked out. They considered this both absurd and unethical, and were not at all happy.

Non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke
A surprising number of guests who booked non-smoking rooms reported that their rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. It seems that either the hotel does not police its smoking regulations, or simply doesn't honour the details of the booking. Either way, guests were certainly not happy about the smell of smoke.
