Positive Reviews
positive:
Gorgeous woodland surroundings.
This area is known for its beautiful foliage and forest sprawls, and you won't be disappointed by the natural beauty around the property. Lake George is just a short trip away, and its picturesque shores are guaranteed to be lively and perfect for your rural getaway.
positive:
A diverse game room.
The on-site game room makes use of several types of activities, including billiards and entertainment specifically designed for children and younger guests. In addition, you can find rentals for kayaks and canoes in this area, providing even more fun on the lake or in surrounding waterways.
positive:
Reliable maid servicing.
Every day, the rooms are serviced by a dedicated team of maids that restock amenities, swap out linens as needed, and generally keep the living spaces feeling clean and comfortable. In most cases, however, you will need to clean the room by yourself before checking out, as a final morning cleaning is not part of their protocol.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Neglected property features.
Some elements found throughout guest rooms show signs of age and overuse, such as the carpeting and various furniture pieces. The exterior is where much of the building's age really begins to show, with significant flaws in the wood, paint, and doorways.
negative:
Fragile Wi-Fi signal.
Finding a stable Wi-Fi signal is incredibly difficult here, largely because the signal is too weak and slow to be useful in most of the guest rooms. Near the pool, you'll find the strongest and most useable signal, but this still presents a hassle for guests wishing to use Wi-Fi in private spaces.
negative:
Nearness to a major road.
A road that experiences a great deal of traffic sits directly beside the property, and noise from passing motorists tends to leak into the building at odd hours of the day. Be aware of this, and ask to book on the side facing away from the road, if you foresee an issue.
