Guests appreciate the friendly manner of the staff and owner.  They are made to feel very welcome here and report that the hotel has a happy atmosphere.

Generally, guests are happy with the beds and describe them as comfortable. The rooms are also kept clean by the housekeeping staff.

According to feedback, this hotel is in need of renovation and redecoration in places. Some rooms are showing signs of wear and tear and there is a general feeling that the standard of accommodation here could be improved. The hotel’s owner points out that the hotel is in the process of being upgraded and this process will continue in the coming months and years.

It is important to bear in mind that as well as being a hotel, this establishment is also a live entertainment venue. There is normally music playing every night of the week and, since the rooms are directly above the bar area, this means that there is a high chance of noise disturbance for guests in their rooms. This was particularly problematic for those guests that wanted to get to sleep rather than enjoy the entertainment.

Guests aren’t impressed with the standard of the bathroom’s fixtures and fittings. They mention that it was very difficult using the shower heads at times either because they were broken or because there wasn’t any hot water.
