Positive Reviews
positive:
Rooms are impressive.
While you shouldn't expect the rooms at the Premier Inn Southampton Eastleigh to offer any particular luxuries, guests are certainly impressed by the standard of accommodation on offer. The rooms are spotlessly clean, offer sufficient space and include a good selection of amenities. Air-conditioning is a definite bonus.
positive:
Staff are genuinely welcoming.
Guests often praise the staff at this hotel, describing them as offering a warm welcome and a genuinely attentive service. You’ll find basic services such as check-in, room allocation and housekeeping run smoothly. Plus, the staff are happy to try to accommodate any extra requests.
positive:
Budget-friendly.
It seems that booking in advance can help to secure the best rates at this hotel but even if you are a last-minute traveller, it’s likely you’ll find the room rates are reasonable. You’ll enjoy extra value thanks to meal deals and free Wi-Fi and parking.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some internal noise.
Few guests mention any external noise (probably down to the fact that air-conditioning means you can keep the windows closed) but the hotel is not entirely noise free. Several guests comment that they were able to hear the conversation and activities of neighbouring guests. Ensure ear plugs are on your packing list.
negative:
Restaurant could be better.
Although far from disgusting, it does seem that the restaurant could do better. The selection of food appears to be fine but the quality is often described as mediocre. Other reported problems include sticky tables and slow service.
negative:
Family rooms are cramped.
Although guests generally find the rooms spacious, those staying in family rooms often felt a little cramped. Once the two children’s beds were made up, there was hardly any room left to manoeuvre around the room.
