Guests often describe the Queensway as offering good value for money. Nightly rates seem to compare favourably to many of the other hotel options in London. Plus, the complimentary breakfast is a nice touch.

Staff sound like they have great customer service all wrapped up. Guests arriving late were not made to feel awkward in any way. Plus, the staff are happy to share their knowledge about the local area and about how to make the most of your trip to the capital.

Although a fair number of guests remark that the rooms are on the small side, most agree that they are clean and comfortable regardless. Reviews of the beds seem a little mixed but that may be down to personal taste. Other than that, the rooms seem fine for the price.

The lack of air-conditioning can be problematic, especially if you are staying on dates over the summer. There don’t appear to be any fans provided so you may have to open the windows and leave yourself at the mercy of London noise.

While the Queensway offers free Wi-Fi in the public areas of the hotel, it is not available in all of the guest rooms. Understandably, this was a cause of frustration to many guests. If you absolutely need an Internet connection during your stay, you may want to look elsewhere.

As you’ll be staying in the capital, you shouldn’t expect to escape traffic noise, especially if you open the windows to cool the room down. Furthermore, some guests comment that they also thought internal noise was an issue. Ear plugs may be beneficial.
