Guests appreciate that the hotel is close to several of the area's top attractions. The famous Clearwater Beach, Brighthouse Networks Field, the downtown area and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home of Winter the Dolphin, are all less than five miles from the hotel.

Guests generally found the hotel to be very spacious and fairly comfortable. Reviewers suggested that it was a nice place for those traveling with families, and that the rooms can comfortably accommodate groups of up to five people with ease.

There are plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. Guests love the convenience of having a diverse range of eateries within seconds of the hotel, with grocery stores including Publix, Target and Costco also close by. The Ramada Limited Clearwater Hotel and Suites is ten minutes from Westfield Countryside Mall.

The hotel's complimentary breakfast was generally not well received. Guests complained that the breakfast options were limited primarily to cold, sugary pastries, with few or no hot options, fruits or yogurt offered. You may end up deciding to buy breakfast elsewhere or grabbing groceries to store in the room instead.

Numerous guests mentioned that the hotel was overdue for an update. The hotel has an overall dated appearance, and such issues as worn and dirty carpeting, chipped or peeling paint, rusted fixtures and water stains were common complaints.

Several reviewers noted that the hotel seemed to have an issue with mold. Guests found evidence of mold in several places including around the AC and near the tub, toilet and sink area.
