Resort Hilton Vacation Club Flamingo Beach Sint Maarten (Simpson Bay, French Antilles)

Flamingo Beach Resort is ideally located for a busy, fun-filled vacation. The local area features duty free shopping, many restaurants and bars, nightlife and a Vegas-style casino. Guests say it is easy to get around on foot and the area is very pleasant. There is even a supermarket conveniently nearby.

The resort offers a variety of onsite activities including sports like tennis and basketball, classic games like billiard and shuffleboard, water sports and Jet Ski rentals, and more. Guests said there was always something new to discover, and plenty to do.

From well-maintained grounds to lovely accommodations, guests were impressed with the resort. Described as a hybrid between a hotel and an apartment, the rooms felt more like a home than a temporary dwelling. Guests especially loved on the large outdoor infinity-edge pool and the beautiful views from the property. If you have a chance to dine, guests also recommend the hotel's open-air restaurant, right on the beach.

Customer service can be a hit or miss. Guests said some personnel were incredibly helpful and nice, while others appeared clueless and inattentive.

The rooms are described as clean and spacious, but some guests thought they needed minor updating. The furniture appears worn and dated and cosmetic touch-ups are a necessity.

Many guests found the Wi-Fi signal quite weak and spotty throughout the entire property. However, it is reported to be a common issue on the island. If you require a good connection for work, guests did notice that the best connection was in the lobby.
