The design of the hotel is funky and different than many hotels in the area. There is a glass exterior and a modern black and grey scheme with lots of mirrors. Guests enjoyed the layout of the accommodation and were pleased at how clean and well kept the hotel is.
The staff at San Ranieri has been reviewed as polite and professional. Everything guest’s need is provided and the staff are there to lend a helping hand if needed. One couple even noted that the staff offered a complimentary ride to the airport when their travel plans got mixed up.
For the modern design and amenities offered many guests were pleasantly surprised at the price tag. With an onsite restaurant, bar and lounge it also made a great place to relax and not have to travel far to enjoy themselves.
There isn’t much to see within walking distance of San Ranieri. Although a bus stop is near by most attractions are best reached by car. Those looking to be in the center of Pisa will not be pleased with the location of the hotel as it’s a bit of a journey from the center.
Some guests weren’t pleased with the selection of meals from the hotel. The food and drink are overpriced compared to the rest of the hotel and the quality did not match the price tag. More variety in food choice was also a suggestion.
Although the hotel is described as contemporary and modern for some people it was a little bit over the top and some even described it as outdated and trapped in the 80’s. The black and white décor was even called depressing by some.
