If guests do not wish to self-cater in the provided fully equipped kitchen, a ten minute walk in either direction from the hotel guests will find the Surfers Paradise entertainment precinct and the Broadbeach mall with each having a plethora of cafes and restaurants. The Breakers North Absolute Beachfront Apartments is ten minutes to the Gold Coast Convention Centre and Jupiters Casino can easily be reach by the nearby Monorail which is a ten minute walk from the hotel.

Being right on the beach the hotel enjoys expansive and panoramic views up and down the Gold Coasts' coast line and for many sitting on their balcony having a beverage and looking out over the ocean was relaxing and the best part of their stay at the hotel.
Guests who were expecting a five star experience including being able to access hotel staff to resolve their requests were very disappointed in the management of the hotel. Guests commented that the staff were hard to find, inconsistent and difficult to get a hold of out of hours.
Many of the apartments in the hotel are privately owned and the style and furnishing is the responsibility of the owners. Guests aware of this fact commented that owners need to upgrade their units to ensure that they remain modern and contemporary in todays hotel market. Old and broken furniture needs to be replaced.
