A great location for work or play...
Guests in town for football or a conference generally love the hotel's Docklands location, and particularly appreciate the building's private access to the Ethiad Stadium, which in turn offers a direct, indoor route to Southern Cross station. There are many restaurants within a comfortable walk, and also tram stops nearby for easy travel throughout Melbourne CBD.
positive:
Clean, modern, and comfortable...
The apartments are widely described as very clean, modern, and spacious. Guests like that the kitchen appliances and laundry machines are new and of good quality. Foxtel is a well appreciated amenity, too.
positive:
A warm welcome to the Docklands...
Most of the front desk staff are described as friendly, helpful, and efficient. Guests who are new to the neighbourhood appreciate their knowledge of local restaurants, and many are pleased to find them able to accommodate special requests, such as early check-in.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Keep an eye on your data...
Guests have been annoyed to find the "free" Wi-Fi is not unlimited and some find the logging in process to be a bother. Some have also been troubled by poor TV reception.
negative:
Overpriced parking...
Drivers warn their fellow travellers that the on-site parking lot is small, and it is not always possible to reserve a space for the duration of your stay. There is plenty of parking nearby at the stadium, but it is not cheap.
negative:
One size too small...
Though the one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments are widely described as roomy, the studios are too cramped for some guests, and also don't offer a balcony. Housekeeping deficiencies have also been reported by a small number of disappointed guests.
