Ship Leopard Hotel – No Children is a Georgian-style hotel with 13 rooms located next to the Portsmouth historic dockyard, England. It is situated right across the Portsmouth Harbour train station. Guests loved the location of the hotel as it was close to the dockyard museums, IOW ferry and Gunwharf Quays. Guests enjoyed seeing the historic warships. Some of the rooms gave a fabulous view of the HMS warrior. It is right opposite to the train station
Rooms were beautifully decorated with a modern decor and well-furnished. There was a lot of modern artwork around the hotel which gave it a good look. Modern fittings like free coffee from a Dulce Gusto machine and high-end toiletries fascinated the guest
Most of the guests had a lovely time at the Ship Leopard cafe where breakfast and other meals are served. It is well decorated and the service is very prompt. The selection of breakfast that included continental and full English breakfast was loved by all
Most of the guests found the timings of the car parking very inconvenient. It opened at 8 am and it was a trouble for guests who wanted to leave early. There is an alternative council owned car parking which is costlier.
Some of the guests felt that the rooms were at least 10 degrees hotter than outside as there was no air conditioning and the window was too small to let sufficient cool air flow in.
There was a lot of noise coming from the nearby bus station, taxi stand and an all-night café, reported guests.
