The customer service supplied by the staff at the Heritage Inn is at a great standard - according to the large majority of previous guests. The staff is said to be welcoming, cheerful and efficient.

Considered spacious and well-equipped for the most part, the rooms were a highpoint for most past guests of the hotel. Moreover, despite supposedly being dated in certain aspects, the rooms are typically seen as well-maintained.

The cleanliness of the Heritage Inn was highly rated overall by former guests. From the rooms to the outdoor swimming pool, all areas of the hotel are regarded as very clean and tidy.

Despite most finding the location of the Heritage Inn to be fine, it has been noted on occasion that the hotel is not in the most ideal position if you are basing your trip around the beaches in the area. The center of Rehoboth Beach, for example, is 15 minutes away by car from the accommodation.

The breakfast selection was a somewhat common complaint aimed at the hotel by previous guests. The breakfast offering is frequently judged as limited, with the lack of hot items a particular issue.

Various former visitors have complained about some of the public facilities at the Heritage Inn. Although it was generally well received, the outdoor pool is supposedly limited in size.
