Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.
Staff throughout are very helpful. From the bar and dining staff, to those on reception; they are all excellent. The personal touch always counts and the Reception staff's help in finding a suitable disabled parking space stays in the memory as one of man

Large rooms and expansive views.
Rooms retain the spaciousness enjoyed in Victorian times and the spectacular views across the bay can't have altered very much either. Rooms are comfortable and come with the usual ‘extras' that we now expect as standard.

Very few stars here.
In the public areas, the curtains appear not to have been cleaned since Victoria was on the throne and carpets are held together with gaffer tape. Entertainment is patchy in quality with some artistes destined to remain so low on any publicity poster ...
