positive:
Great central location in Milwaukee
With a central position in Milwaukee that is within walking distance of various museums, restaurants, shops and attractions, the location of the Plaza Hotel was a highlight for nearly all past guests. Moreover, the hotel's location in a supposedly quiet neighborhood was also well received.
positive:
Charming, clean and well-equipped rooms
The style and cleanliness of the rooms was commended by many former visitors. In addition, and with amenities such as a fully-equipped kitchen, hairdryer and flat-screen television, the rooms were also regularly judged to be well-appointed.
positive:
Customer service a delight
The service delivered was generally applauded by previous guests of the Plaza Hotel. The accommodation's staff members were considered to be really helpful, friendly and welcoming.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Bathrooms small and in need of updating
Although the rooms were typically praised, the Plaza Hotel's private bathrooms have come under scrutiny from numerous former visitors. As well as being apparently small, the bathrooms were also labeled as outdated on occasion.
negative:
No elevator available
The lack of an elevator was understandably an issue for various previous guests that stayed at the hotel. With rooms spread across four floors, the omission of an elevator was particularly noticeable for those that resided on the higher floors.
negative:
Expensive for what is received
Whilst the overall experience was generally regarded as great, past visitors have described the price of staying as expensive at the Plaza Hotel. This was in part attributed to the limited amount of public facilities available at the hotel. In addition, the prices at the accommodation's on-site café were also considered to be somewhat pricey.
