Tropikist Beach Hotel and Resort (Crown Point, Trinidad and Tobago)

Guests loved the two lagoon swimming pools at the hotel. Moreover, the swim-up bar of the pool is an add-on to indulge in refreshing drinks. Guests also loved the loungers to enjoy a relaxing sun bath.

The location of the hotel is very convenient from the airport, plus it is pretty close to shopping marts as well as restaurants and bars. Two very popular beaches are also at a walking distance from the hotel. Guests have found the location to be ideal and convenient.

Guests who stayed in rooms with sea views said that the view from the balconies was breathtaking. They thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time lounging in the balconies soaking in the sight.

The front desk executives at the hotel are not very friendly and aren't available round the clock. Complaints from the guests are often unheard and unsolved and the staff lacks a welcoming attitude towards the guests.

The bath tub/shower area in the bathrooms is very small and has stains say guests. Moreover, there is problem of availability of towels and hot water. Guests also said that there were drainage problems.

The rooms at the hotel are pretty outdated. Guests say that the paint on the walls was peeling off, lights in the room were not in working condition, plus there was leakage from the ceilings. There are no telephones in the rooms so in case of a service request, guests had to walk down all the way to the reception. Air-conditioning in the room was not working properly.  The breakfast at the hotel is often cold and not of the desired quality.
