Philadelphia will once again transform into a European wonderland for the annual Christmas Village at Love Park. Christmas Village is open Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 27) until the last Sunday in December (Sunday, December 28). Get into the Christmas spirit as you wander through the authentic German Christmas market with the smell of waffles and gingerbread wafting through the air. More than 60 vendors from all over the world will set up shops in quaint, wooden booths and two large tents throughout the month. Browse for the perfect gift, like Christmas ornaments from Germany enjoy European food, sweets and drinks, such as Bratwurst and “Lebkuchen” (gingerbread) and watch to performances from area bands, dance groups and more. Admission is free, so come by and enjoy the festive holiday atmosphere all month-long.
