Positive Reviews
positive:
Clean and convenient accommodation.
The Forge Accommodation provides a range of room options including trailer-type accommodation which can easily sleep six or more. All choices are kept spotlessly clean and are all well-maintained. Bristol is known for blustery winds, rain and cold temperatures and these rooms are very warm and dry, providing a welcome relief close to the airport.
positive:
Friendly, warm welcome
Staff members are bright, energetic, friendly and well-trained, all important factors that make for a pleasant experience. Guests are greeted with a warm smile and the check-in process is very quick, most welcome after a long and tiring journey. Staff will also assist wherever they can, arranging airport transfers, car hire or simply helping with luggage.
positive:
Excellent all-round service.
The free airport shuttle service is excellent with friendly drivers and clean vehicles. The Forge will also take guests to their local pub and eatery called The Bungalow and will fetch them afterwards. This is a really great way to enjoy a meal and a few drinks without having to worry about driving around.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Can be quite noisy.
Being so close to Bristol International Airport, noise levels can sometimes be quite intrusive as planes are constantly coming and going. The main road running from the airport also contributes to the noise levels so it is best to ask for accommodation furthest from the road for a bit more peace and quiet.
negative:
Limited breakfast options.
Breakfast options are limited to a variety of cereals and fresh milk, available in the room mini-fridge along with tea and coffee making facilities.
negative:
Missing some basic elements.
None of the rooms have clothes hooks or hanging space, something that also extends to the bathrooms where there are no rails for towels or hooks to hang clothes from.
