City Museum and Art Gallery (Bristol, United Kingdom)
This Edwardian Baroque building houses the largest regional museum and art gallery. Exhibits range from sea dinosaurs to fine art of national and international importance and include regularly changing displays. There is a children’s playing zone and organised workshops. You’ll also find a café, a museum shop. The ground floor offers exhibits relating to Egypt as well as British bird life and mammals. The 1st floor reveals dinosaurs, sea dragons, minerals and fossils as well as others displays, whilst the top floor presents French School painters as well as British art, a Chinese glass gallery and Eastern art. The City Museum and Art gallery is open daily from 10h00 to 17h00 and admission is free. It is completely wheelchair accessible.
