Guests often said this property's peaceful location in Coniston village made it an excellent base for walking, rock-climbing and cycling in the magnificent scenery of the surrounding Lake District National Park. Drivers were just off the A593 and a short drive from the A590, A591 and A595, making it quick and easy for them to reach area attractions, beauty spots, mountains, lakes and railway stations. Another plus was the proximity of a petrol station. Furthermore, bus stops plus village shops, dining options and amenities were all within easy walking distance.
