You will enjoy the old fashioned charm of the hotel’s frontage, bar and dining room, and the rooms offer all the basic necessities and are clean.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Worn decor and small rooms.
Most guests have found the decor in the rooms to be at best old fashioned and most often, to be in need of refurbishment, while the bathrooms are a bit cramped and you may find the rooms to be smaller than you like.
negative:
Narrow stairs lead to a prize….
While the narrow stairs at The Lake View may be a bit hard to carry suitcase up, the views from the rooms upstairs appear to be worth the effort.
negative:
No Wi-Fi in rooms.
Some people have been unhappy to not have Wi-Fi access in their rooms, and the mobile reception is not fantastic either, but others have actually quite enjoyed being off the grid and simply enjoying the nature.
