North Shore Beach (Llandudno, United Kingdom)
North Shore Beach, part of the resort of Llandudno with its promenade and pier, has a Blue Flag award. Although the beach is predominantly rocky, there are some sandy areas as well. You can go wind surfing or sailing here, and children can have donkey rides. Boat trips depart from the pier. North Shore has a shop, café, children’s paddling pool, slipway, toilets and disabled facilities, but there is no lifeguard. It is possible to hire deck chairs there. Dogs are only allowed on the beach at certain times. As a change from the usual seaside activities at North Shore Beach, Llandudno has a town trail and an Alice in Wonderland trail, or you can go for the longest cable car ride in the UK.
