The location of this bed and breakfast is on the outskirts of town in a quiet spot called Combe Down. Guests say it is really peaceful there, but the good thing is that it is only a short drive from the centre of Bath. There is even a bus stop with a direct link to the city just outside the accommodation, meaning you do not have to drive.
The staff here are said to be lovely, and help create a really relaxed atmosphere. You will get a warm welcome when you arrive, and a top level of hospitality throughout your stay.
Guests really enjoy the food served here, so they find it a bit of a shame that the restaurant is closed on a Sunday evening. This means guests need to make alternative dining arrangements. If they do eat at the restaurant in the afternoon, the only option available is Sunday lunch.
Another disappointment for the guests is the absence of a cooked breakfast. While on the whole guests do enjoy the continental selection available, a number of guests would have really liked a cooked version too to kick their day off in the best way.
Though not a massive issue, some guests have expressed their frustration with the showers. Either water pressure is not very strong, or there are problems with the shower head and controlling the direction of the water flow.
