    About The Hardinge Arms

    The Hardinge Arms is a traditional 16th Century Coaching Inn with a restaurant and 6 letting rooms. The old stable block was converted into letting rooms with the rear of the main building being newer than the front of the building. We serve food from Wednesday to Sunday including Sunday Lunch. The Harding’s Arms is set in the sought after and affluent area of Kings Newton which is a stone’s throw away from Melbourne. There are lots of countryside activities to take part in in the area. The Apple tree to the right of Guest room 1 is the famous tree where the first cutting was taken to produce thousands of Newtons Wonder cooking apples! If you stay in apple picking season you can pick your own apples off the tree and take them with you.
