Not only was guest accommodation clean and quiet, it was also spacious and nicely decorated. Guests appreciated the modern renovation of rooms, and liked the large bathroom as much as the comfortable beds with premium linens.
Guests could walk to many local attractions, and loved the ambiance of Admiral's location. The character of Old Town was waiting right outside the door, and many guests wondered if there could be a better situated hotel in Gdańsk. Having shops and restaurants a stone's throw away was a major plus.
While the guest quarters and breakfast were top notch, many guests were less than impressed with the downstairs bar. Guests wanted a redo after visiting the bar that was often found to be on the chilly side in the colder months. Some guests also encountered a lengthy wait after staff were running from the restaurant to the bar, or due to a preoccupied bar tender.
Some guests accused the Admiral of penny-pinching, particularly when it came to barren bathrooms without any toiletries. Guests advised that you won't want to leave your shampoo at home. The same goes for a warm sweater, as some guests found the heat to be off in the hotel when they felt it should have been on.
Guests appreciated the ability to park their car at the hotel, but a few were inconvenienced by a full car park. Only a few spaces are available for guests to park, but the good news is that street parking nearby was found to be affordable.
