Royal Fromentin is an historic hotel that features original 1930s theatrical décor. It is located in the Pigalle Quarter of Paris, an area that’s home to the Moulin Rogue and various night clubs and theatres. All rooms offer en-suite facilities as well as satellite television, a hairdryer, double glazing and complimentary Wi-Fi. Some rooms have views of nearby Montmatre and Sacré Coeur. Royal Fromentin’s reception area retains original wooden panelling from a time when Le Don Juan cabaret was performed here. The antique lift is a stunning original feature and the art deco windows add to the ambiance. Fresh croissants and coffee are served in the morning. A popular French restaurant within walking distance is Chez Toinette on Rue Germaine Pilon. Via nearby metro stations Pigalle and Blanche, the rest of Paris is easily accessible – the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame are around 30 minutes away.

According to comments, the members of staff at Royal Fromentin offer a very good service. They are friendly and helpful and for the most part speak English, so there shouldn't be too many problems communicating with them when you stay here.
On the whole, guests feel that this hotel offers good value for money when considering the central location and the quality of accommodation. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are well-cleaned and, despite a few signs of wear and tear and other minor issues, many guests would be happy to stay here again.
It's worth bearing in mind that Royal Fromentin is located in an area of Paris that is know for adult shows and shops and, most notably, the Moulin Rouge. While some commented that they were happy to stay in such an area, others found it too seedy and were of the opinion that they wouldn't wish to bring young children here. So, ultimately, it depends on your own sensibilities as to whether staying here is a problem or not.
Guests report that some of the rooms at this hotel are on the small side. Of course, this is a general problem with many hotels in Paris and isn't a unique criticism of Royal Fromentin.
It seems that the walls between rooms are poor at blocking out noise which was a cause of disturbance for some guests.
