You are immediately hit by the friendly communal aspect. There’s a spacious lobby with a lounge, tables and chairs to encourage you to rest, relax and chat. Outside is nice too, with more chairs and a fire pit.

Still very new, so everything is fresh and clean – but comfortable at the same time. There is plenty of space. Created with the University, families and kids in mind, rooms have sufficient space for everyone. The bathroom is a good size, too.

Members of staff, throughout, are very helpful and co-operative. That's 'your' bonus ... not theirs!

You won’t be doing any Olympic training here. The pool is suited more to a quick splash and exit.

The actual parking area is somewhat limited. *Actually, the space is really tiny! The hotel, though, can validate your parking in an adjacent area. There’s no complimentary breakfast and The Bistro offerings can be bettered, locally, for those who want something to set them up for the day. Fortunately and later, there are some great restaurants, including established favorites, that are within walking distance.

Try for a higher floor room if you think you’ll suffer as the result of the busy street outside and the college kids congregating around the 7-ll and Pizza Hut opposite. Inside; well, if you get a wedding or social group occupying a series of rooms ... the accompanying noise is really appalling. Members of staff seem unable to control it.
