Positive Reviews
positive:
Great central location
While the hotel isn't particularly close to the beach, guests knew this before making their booking. It is described as being in the heart of the town, and guests really appreciated having all the bars, cafes and other amenities so close at hand.
positive:
Spotlessly clean
Whatever small problems guests may have had with their room, its cleanliness certainly wasn't one of them. On the contrary, a significant number of guests went out of their way to say that their rooms were spotlessly clean on arrival, and were well maintained thereafter.
positive:
Newly renovated rooms
Several guests mentioned that the rooms, while nothing fancy, look like they have been newly renovated. They tended to like the new décor and design, especially the sleek and modern bathrooms.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit of noise from the streets below
Going by guest comments, it seems that the great central location of the hotel did not come without a cost. That cost was the noise from revellers and others below, which a few guests said prevented them from getting a good night's sleep.
negative:
Poor Wi-Fi service
Unfortunately, Estudiotel could not seem to escape the curse of the poor hotel Wi-Fi, with many guests saying that the signal simply wasn't strong enough to reach many of the rooms, and even when a connection was established the system was very unreliable.
negative:
No English TV stations
English speaking guests reported that the cable package the hotel subscribes to includes no English language stations at all, not even BBC World. While they concede that people don't generally travel to the Spanish coast to watch TV, there were instances they would have liked to just relax for a bit in front of the TV and be entertained.
