A number of guests said that they felt staff members treated them with friendliness during their visits.

Though not everyone may be in agreement, a good amount of guests said that their rooms were generally clean and the bed linens were also clean as well. There were some issues with the bathrooms, but the general consensus was that the rooms themselves were clean.

One of the top positive remarks about this hotel was the prime location as it is close to all the sights and things to do in Calais. Some guests also said they found the hotel to be a bargain price considering the area.

There were many complaints about the walls in the rooms being too thin. People said the noise was very loud at times as they were able to hear guests talking in other rooms, walking around and making noise in the halls or people being loud on the street. You might want to bring the ear plugs if you choose to stay at this hotel.

There were several negative remarks about the hotel being very outdated and worn down. Issues cited included outdated rooms, mouldy bathrooms, crumbling balconies, broken showers and toilets and general upkeep issues.

According to several guests, hotel employees leave the front desk after a certain time of the evening, so no one is available at reception. This proved to be an issue for some people.
