Positive Reviews
positive:
Guests love the location
With a location close enough to walk to Downtown Toronto, guests found the position of this guest house to be quiet convenient. St. Lawrence Market, where you can shop for the most delicious pastries, is within an easy walk too.
positive:
Excellent prices
You may be pleasantly surprised by the inexpensive room price here. Most visitors felt they got quite good value for their money once they priced the other nearby guest houses. If you are on a budget, then this will do just fine.
positive:
Close to public transport
If you don't have your own vehicle with you, it won't be an issue at all. Guests found the public transport to be quite convenient, and found at least two bus stops within a two-minute walk from the property.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Moldy bathrooms
If you are not the type that likes to share a bathroom with strangers, then this set up might not be to your liking. There is only one bathroom at the end of the passage for a total of six rooms, and guests also complained that they could do with a good scrub at least once per day.
negative:
Noisy at night
Make sure you bring along your own set of ear plugs, as many travellers said they struggled to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. There is so much activity on the streets after dark with late-night party goers returning from their night on the town.
negative:
Wi-Fi signal not strong
While some guests found the Wi-Fi signal to be adequate on one of the floors, the majority of guests reported that Wi-Fi barely worked on most of the other floors. If you need to stay in touch, make sure you are not reliant on the guest house's Internet service.
