Positive Reviews
positive:
Close to the city yet quiet
The hotel sits in a business area off of the interstate, so it tends to be surrounded by peace and quiet especially at night, which guests appreciate. The hotel makes up for the fact that there is nothing in walking distance by providing a shuttle bus, and guests state that the walk to the train station is more than acceptable, since it's less than one mile away. This might not be the most convenient location for tourist who'd prefer to be right in the historic city center, but it is ideal for seasoned Boston visitors and business travelers.
positive:
Restaurant a must-have amenity
Guests enjoyed the hot and cold breakfast options as well as the pleasant dining experience, which features fresh local seafood.
positive:
Basic yet comfortable room
The rooms fulfill the basic requirements of being comfortable and convenient, since they are clean, modern and spacious.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noisy rooms
Several guests reported overhearing way more of their neighbor's conversations and activities that they had bargained for due to the room's poor sound insulation, making sleep a bit difficult at times.
negative:
Expensive parking
Given the fact that the hotel is in a business area, where the only people intent on using the hotel's parking facility would be guests, it makes little sense to charge for parking in this rather desolate location.
negative:
Wi-Fi should be free
Guests complained that Wi-Fi was only free in the lobby, and that even the basic option was quite costly. If you're going to be needing Wi-Fi, you should sign up for the Marriott Rewards program, which will then include the service for free.
