Convenient yet quiet location.
The hotel is surrounded by 20 acres of private grounds thus ensuring a very peaceful and picturesque setting. Many guests appreciated being within walking distance of Edinburgh’s numerous shops and restaurants yet being away from the hustle and bustle. The peacocks that roam the gardens freely added to the relaxed countryside ambiance.

The rooms left many guests quite impressed especially the four-poster beds and the quality antique furniture and upholstery.
