It may be steam heat outside but, at the Monroe Palm Springs, the air conditioning is effective and keeps temperatures to a comfortable level. Rooms are clean and a number are impressively large. Staff are friendly and helpful, there's plenty of free parking and the pool is terrific.
As you sit alone by the quiet pool, you begin to realize that everyone else has gone to where the fun and music is. That's at the sister hotel, the Riviera Palm Springs.
