Sea views, easy walking distances, parking.
Guests often found the seafront location to be the highlight of their stay, with great views of the bay and headlands from some common areas and premium rooms, and the beach and promenade are just outside, town and public transport a short walk away. The secure, free car parking was also well appreciated.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Some say dated, others say refurbished.
Some of those who stayed at Kensington found the decor in need of a makeover, and a few people reported poorly fitted windows, but as of mid-2015 it appeared this makeover was gradually happening, with some guests finding their rooms to be modern and refurbished.
negative:
Breakfast included? Meals pass muster.
A few guests were disappointed to find breakfast was not included in their booking, so make sure you book this if you do want it, and on the whole, the meals found to be passable, but nothing particularly special.
negative:
Some mattresses not amazing.
The mattresses at Kensington were a point of contention for a small handful, who found them to be lumpy and not offering enough support, but most guests did not mention that anything was awry.
