Positive Reviews
positive:
Refurbished hotel with a trendy modern style.
Hebasca has had a major renovation on the inside, so don't be fooled by its rather plain exterior appearance. Lots of effort has been made and it has a very fresh and stylish feel, in the rooms and the communal ares.
positive:
Great location in town and close to the beach.
Slap bang in the middle of Bude, this hotel is within walking distance of all the attractions the seaside town has to offer. Close enough to the pubs to walk home after a few and close enough to the beach to stroll down for a morning dip.
positive:
Friendly staff are really helpful and welcoming.
You really are made to feel at home when you stay here, the staff go out of their way to be friendly even when they don't have to be. Any problems are dealt with quickly and with a smile.
Negative Reviews
negative:
You might have issues with the free Wi-Fi.
Unfortunately the free Wi-Fi in the hotel is a bit temperamental, so you are likely to have problems connecting and actually achieving anything useful with it. Communal areas are best if you have to use it because rooms are hit and miss.
negative:
Restaurant food is a bit too overpriced.
Unfortunately the quality of the meals and the size of the portions leaves something to be desired at the restaurant. It might not be so bad if it wasn't for the high prices they think they can charge you.
negative:
Some of the rooms here are pretty cramped.
If you aren't a fan of tight confined places then some of the rooms at Hebasca might not agree with you. A few of them leave little space for anything but yourself and your luggage, and the ensuite bathrooms are as equally compact.
