Positive Reviews
positive:
Fantastic rooms.
Rooms at the Premier Inn Macclesfield North offer far more than you might reasonably expect from a mid-priced hotel chain. The new look rooms certainly seem to impress guests who comment that the highlights are the extra-comfy beds and the large TVs.
positive:
Excellent value for money.
Value for money seems to have been enjoyed at this hotel for quite some time but now the rooms have been refurbished to such a high standard, there’s a sense that guests enjoy even greater value for their money. The included parking and Wi-Fi add value as do the various meal deals.
positive:
Impressive customer service.
Guests tend to describe the standard of customer service offered in favourable terms. Staff seem genuinely happy to welcome guests to the hotel and show an active interest in ensuring guests have all that they need to enjoy their stay.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Twin bed situation is odd.
Despite being able to book a twin room at this hotel, several guests were surprised to find that the rooms actually contained a normal bed and a sofa bed. This is less than ideal for two friends travelling together. To make matters worse, the sofa beds aren't that comfy.
negative:
Soaring temperatures.
A fairly regular complaint is that the guest rooms are too hot during warmer weather. The main culprit is that there’s no air-conditioning but windows that don’t fully open, poorly performing fans and heating you can’t control yourself don’t help the situation much.
negative:
Occasional complaints about the rooms.
Although for the most part, guests describe the rooms as fantastic, particularly now they have been refurbished, there are some minor issues. Some guests found the lack of storage and hanging space laughable while others described the bathroom fans as sounding like Concorde taking off.
