The Wi-Fi is about as fast as a snail! The connection can't be more than 1 MBPs and this is for the entire hotel. In fact, you may find the service throughout the hotel is slow as well. Waiting nearly an hour for your breakfast will probably make you lose your appetite.
The soundproofing is from a few centuries back and definitely matches the ambiance of the hotel. If your room is over the front door, the noise level is outrageous. There is a sign that creaks when the wind is blowing like in a haunted movie, and the bed creaks as well! If your room faces the road it can get quite noisy and on Saturday nights, you might find plenty of noise during the night inside and outside the hotel.
