Bialowieza National Park covers the most valuable part of The Bialowieza Primeval Forest - an ancient woodland located on the border of Poland and Belorussia. The Forest covers about 1500 square kilometres of primeval woodland, although only 40 percent of it is actually in Poland. It’s the only natural site in Poland that is on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Visiting the Park is in organised groups, guided by licensed guides. The main attractions include the new and modern natural history museum and the show enclosure of European bisons.
