Boulevard Vitosha is one of the most famous boulevards in the capital city of Sofia. It is situated in downtown Sofia, near Sveta Nedelya church and the South Park. Alongside the boulevard are situated a lot of prestigious shops, coffee shops and restaurants. It is famous for these expensive shops. A few years ago, the mayor and city government decided to make it a pedestrian only zone, and now there are benches you can sit on, ice cream is sold everywhere, there are circus players and other artists performing on the street. The Vitosha Boulevard goes past one of the most famous cultural centres in Sofia–The National Cultural Palace, where visitors can stop and enjoy the fountains. From one end to the other, it will take you approximately 30 to 40 minutes to walk. There are trams, they are the only vehicles allowed from Sveta Nedelya to the National Cultural Palace–the part where the boulevard is closed.
Bulevard Vitosha is one of the top attractions in Sofia, known for its unique features that attract numerous visitors each year.
