    Greenwich Park (London, United Kingdom)

Greenwich Park is a Royal Park located in the south-eastern part of London. It is the oldest of the Royal Parks and was first enclosed in 1433. Its original use was as a hunting ground for the Royal Family. Smaller than other outer-London Royal parks, at 183 acres, it is laid out around the buildings of Maritime Greenwich, and forms part of the Greenwich World Heritage Site. The Old Royal Observatory, the Royal Naval College, the National Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House are all within the area. The whole complex is free to enter and it is open daily from 6am for pedestrians (one hour later for vehicles) and closes at dusk.
