St Aubin’ Bay beach covers the whole seafront from St Helier harbour to St Aubin’s harbour and is the closest major beach to St Helier. The beach is south facing and during low tide the water retreats about 300 metres and offers a long and wide stretch of fine golden sand for its visitors to enjoy. St Aubin’s Bay is popular for its water sports facilities and surfing, water skying, jet skying, hobie cats, banana rides and beach volleyball nets are available along the beach which includes the facilities for equipment rental and tuition. Free parking is available all along the beach, bus stops are provided at frequent intervals. For refreshments there are a number of kiosks directly at the beach, as well as public toilets which can be reached from the beach without the necessity of crossing the road. Cafes, bars and restaurants can be found along the waterfront.
