Negative Reviews
negative:
Some rooms are smaller than others
Some of the guest rooms at The Highfield are smaller than others and this includes the bathrooms and cupboards. This could be problematic for those who are travelling with more than one person, have lots of luggage in tow or need extra room to manoeuvre.
negative:
The bar/lounge is small
The hotel's bar/lounge is rather small and is adjacent to the reception area. This is not necessarily conducive to relaxing while you unwind and enjoy a cocktail.
negative:
The WiFi is spotty
The Internet connection in the guest rooms can be slow and spotty which could be problematic if you are travelling on business, want to get an email out in a hurry or use your devices on demand. But if needs be, you can go to the public spaces where the WiFi is spot-on.
