Excellent outdoor area
Guests appreciate having an outdoor space where they can relax with a drink. The outdoor decking area is fairly new and has been furnished to a high standard. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather as this is a lovely space where you can enjoy the rural views.
positive:
Friendly service
Although there are occasional issues where guests have not found the welcome as warm as they had hoped, the majority of previous visitors to the Robin Hood Inn have been impressed with the standard of hospitality of the new owners.
positive:
Good value for money
Previous guests have found that the Robin Hood Inn offers good value for money. Room rates are found to be attractive, especially since breakfast is included. Plus, the costs of meals and drinks in the pub are often described as reasonable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Haphazard housekeeping
Although guests tend to find the rooms at this pub are clean and comfy on arrival, it does seem that there are occasional issues with the on-going housekeeping. Several guests mention that their room was not serviced, leaving them with wet towels and no tea or coffee supplies.
negative:
Occasional staffing issues
More than one guest reports that they were unable to have breakfast in the pub because the chef was late for work. There are a small number of guests who also report that main meals were not available. It seems that there are no alternative staffing arrangements in place.
negative:
Wi-Fi/mobile issues
Perhaps understandably, guests point out the lack of the Wi-Fi in the individual bedrooms although this is available in the pub. Mobile phone signal in this area is often described as poor and only available in very specific spots.
