Negative Reviews
negative:
No on-site parking
If you are travelling to Saxmundham by car, bear in mind that The Bell at Sax doesn't have its own car park. Guests mention that it was instead necessary to use a public car park which is a short walk away. They report that this was mildly inconvenient and that the parking fees were very reasonable.
negative:
Noisy at times
A few guests mentioned being disturbed by noise from the restaurant and the street outside. However, this is largely to be expected given the hotel's location in the centre of town and other guests found their stay relaxing and peaceful.
negative:
Rooms vary in size and amenities offered
It seems that the rooms available differ in size somewhat, with one room in particular having a very low ceiling. Not all rooms have a desk either which was a problem for one business traveller.
