Frankfurt Airport (Frankfurt, Germany)
Flughafen Frankfurt am Main is also knows as the Frankfurt Airport. It is situated some 12 km from the city centre of Frankfurt and is the largest airport in Germany and the third biggest in Europe. The airport has two terminals and six sub-terminals. It is the main hub is for Lufthansa, which is the German air operator, but it is also an international hub for Air India for the North American Services. Of the two terminals on the airport, terminal 1 is divided into three parts, whilst terminal 2 is divided into two parts. Altogether, there are 45 boarding gates. Separately, the airport has a first class terminal, where all the passengers travelling first class board their airplanes. The passengers from this part of the airport are driven directly to their airplane to board in a Porsche Cayenne or Mercedes S-class limos. There is also a cargo terminal, which includes the DHL courier service department. The airport is located in a metropolitan area, and is located such as to be easily connected to all roads and rails in the area.
